Goafs are one of the main factors that endanger safety mining areas, leading to roadway collapse, land subsidence and other problems. Determining how detect goafs accurately efficiently is an important issue faced in engineering geophysical exploration research. Microtremor survey technology, used exploration, has been developed recent years. It advantages low cost, flexible construction, topographic impact high efficiency. In this paper, microtremor technology was applied detection a coal mine goaf. known goaf area Taiyuan Nanling Coal Mine, linear observation array arranged conduct rolling acquisition, observe signal records natural field use extended spatial autocorrelation method extract dispersion curve. Through inversion extracted curve, apparent shear wave velocity profile underground medium clearly showed location roughly consistent with data obtained from mine. The results reflect micromotion exploration.
